SpidVid Official Privacy Policy & Data Protection Standards
At SpidVid ("we," "our," or "us"), protecting the privacy and digital security of our visitors is our highest operational priority. This Privacy Policy details how we handle technical data, ensure user anonymity, and maintain strict compliance with global data privacy regulations, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Information We Collect & Why We Collect It
Because SpidVid operates entirely without user account registrations or logins, our data collection is limited exclusively to essential technical diagnostics necessary to maintain server performance and security.
Technical Server Logs & Rate Limiting
When you submit a request to our media processing servers, our automated systems temporarily log basic technical telemetry, including your IP address, browser user-agent string, and timestamp. These technical logs are processed strictly to enforce automated rate-limiting protocols against malicious botnet attacks, prevent server denial-of-service (DDoS) overload, and ensure equitable bandwidth distribution. All raw IP telemetry is automatically purged from our edge servers within 24 to 72 hours.
What We Do NOT Collect or Store
- No Download History: We do NOT record, log, or store a list of the specific Instagram URLs, photos, Reels, or stories you process through our tool.
- No Media Storage: We do NOT store copies of downloaded video files, image assets, or profile pictures on our local storage arrays. All files are streamed directly from Instagram's public CDNs to your local device buffer.
- No Personal Identifiers: We do NOT request, collect, or store personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, or social media login credentials.
Third-Party Services & Content Delivery Networks
SpidVid utilizes reputable third-party infrastructure providers to deliver high-speed web application performance globally, including Cloudflare and edge CDN networks for SSL/TLS encryption and DDoS mitigation. When you enter a public link, our backend queries public server endpoints hosted by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your personal IP address is never passed directly to Instagram during the extraction process.
Your Privacy Rights & Contacting Our Data Officer
Depending on your legal jurisdiction, you retain comprehensive rights regarding your digital data. Because we do not store personal accounts or tied browsing histories, data deletion requests are automatically satisfied by our 72-hour log purge cycles. For inquiries, contact `privacy@spidvid.com` or visit our Contact Page.
